Vanilla Ice Cream

One of papa's favorites especially with fancy Mexican vanillas.

Vanilla Ice Cream


  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Sugar: 3/4 cup
  • Heavy cream: 2 cups
  • Vanilla extract: 2 teaspoons


  1. Whisk the eggs in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes. Whisk in the sugar, a little time, then continue whisking until completely blended, about one minute more. Pour in the cream and vanilla and whisk to blend.
  2. Transfer the mixture to the ice cream maker and freeze following the manufactures instructions.
